Condition Report:
The canvas appears original. The canvas undulates slightly including at the upper left corner. There may be one or two historic losses to the impasto tips, including to the lower left corner in the white pigment. There are a few instances of reticulation with some instances of individual lines of cracking, including to the thicker white pigment of the border of the jug. There is some surface dirt to the creviced areas of the thicker impasto. There is some light surface dirt and instances of minor matter and studio detritus to the work in places and spots of staining. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
Inspection under Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is presented in a painted wooden frame, held under glass.
