Condition Report:
The canvas appears original. There are a few fine lines of craquelure along the left, central and right stretcher bars. There is a small area of cracking and a potential instance of lifting towards the centre of the right edge. There are further areas of lines of craquelure and cracking, most notably in the blue of the sky and the water, with some associated instances of paint loss. There are some probable losses and flattening to some of the impasto tips. There is a layer of surface dirt to the work, with a few instances of studio detritus and surface matter.

Inspection under Ultraviolet light does not appear to reveal any signs of fluorescence or retouching.

The work is presented in a wooden box frame.
