Condition Report:
Not examined out of the frame. Lined. The work presents well with bright colors. There are four faint vertical stretcher bar marks in the sky, which are slightly discolored. Scattered fine craquelure. Frame abrasion along the right edge, and faintly along the top edge with some discoloration. Under UV: there are scattered, finely applied dashes of inpainting to address prior craquelure in the sky and on the tent at lower left, and fine lines of inpainting to address stretcher bar marks in the sky. Four inch diagonal repair in the sky extending from the horizon line at right. A very few isolated fine dots and brushy dashes of retouching in the foreground and landscape.
