signed, dated 49. and numbered G.4; also signed, titled, dated Jan 49 and numbered G.4 on the reverse
watercolour, gouache, pencil and pen on paper
39 by 56cm.; 15¼ by 22in.

Condition Report:
The sheet has been adhered to the backing card at the centre of the upper edge. The sheet appears to have been neatly cut to the upper and lower edges. There are Artist's pinholes at all four corners and to the centre of the upper edge, with an associated pin-head mark at the extreme upper right corner. There is very minor rounding to the extreme lower right corner. The sheet undulates slightly in-keeping with the Artist's working methods and materials. There is an extremely faint possible scuff to the left hand side to the Island. There are minor flecks of foxing to the sheet, particularly visible to the verso. There is some time staining to the sheet. This excepting, the work appears in very good overall condition.

The work is held behind glass in a painted wooden frame.
