gilded 3/4 plate, detent escapement, free-sprung bi-metallic compensation balance, blued steel helical spring, diamond endstone, signed and numbered John Walker, 230 Regent Street, London, No. 10600, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary dials for stop/start seconds, day and month, sector for retrograde date, blued steel hands, 18ct gold case, engine-turned covers, the front with glazed aperture surrounded by blue enamel Roman numerals, hallmarked for London 1866, case maker's mark F.B in an oval cartouche for Frank Bennett

Condition Report:
Movement: running and repeating correctly at the time of cataloguing. Day and date changing when the hands are advanced but with pusher under the bezel does not work.
Dial: in good condition.
Case: scuff throughout. Some wear to the engine-turning.
