JOHN WESLEY CARROLL (AMERICAN, 1892?1959), OIL ON CANVAS, H 30", W 40.25", MACKEREL COVE :Signed lower left; framed. Labels on verso indicating the title, that it was owned by Mrs. Olga Slusarczuk of Detroit and was lent to the Albany Institue of History and Art Albany, NY for a 1963 John Carroll exhibit (see photo details). There is also a letter from the Berkshire Museum, Pittsfield, MA, May 12, 1960 asking to have the painting lent to the museum for a memorial exhibition of John Carroll works.
