signed, titled and inscribed on the reverse
oil on canvas
46 by 61cm.; 18 by 24in.
Executed circa 1956-7.

Condition Report:
The canvas appears original. There is reticulation to the purple pigment on the roof of the central house. There are very fine lines of reticulation and craquelure at and towards the upper left quadrant, only visible upon close inspection. There is light surface dirt to the work and instances of studio matter and detritus in a few places. There is a layer of varnish. This excepting, the work appears in very good overall condition.

Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals two small spots of fluorescence and probable retouching, which have been sensitively executed.

The work is floated in a gilt painted wooden frame.
