JOSEPH THORS, BRITISH 1843 - 00, OIL ON CANVAS, PAIR, H 9", W 12" :Both signed. Joseph Thors. British fl. 1863 - 1900. Winsor and Newton, London stamped canvas. Joseph Thors was a landscape painter who lived in London but also painted in the Midlands, where he is regarded as a member of the Birmingham School. Framed size H 16 1/2" W 19 1/2".
Condition Report: Original canvases. One signed visibly to right, other signature is partly obscured by frame. jw
