Description: Portrait of the Swiss painter Johann Rudolf Studer with turban. The portrait itself appears as a painted canvas on the floor in front of a plinth on which a female bust stands, supported by a putto with his right hand. At the back, an open curtain reveals a view through a window onto a treetop under a cloudy sky.
