Good condition overall for an object of this age and rare type. Some moderate stable insect damage, including to the legs, the outer side of the proper right arm, and the back of the proper right shoulder. Shallow insect channels running along the neck and head, as partially visible in the catalogue illustration; an area of surface loss from insect damage to the proper left temple. The lower part of the legs fragmentary. Stable age cracks, including to the shoulders and the hips. Some other marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, and small losses. Very fine, dry, aged patina, glossy in places from handling. Has base.
