Condition Report:
The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.:

This work is in excellent condition. The canvas has an old lining. The paint layer is clean and attractively varnished. There is a small retouching in front of the right hand of the figure, and another small spot in front of her forehead. There are a few tiny dots of retouching between the head and the sun. Some of the original paint in the figure reads darkly, but this does not correspond to retouching. The work should be hung as is.
