JULES MOIGNIEZ (FRENCH, 1835-1894), BRONZE SCULPTURE 19TH C. H 35", W 14" OWL A 19th c. bronze sculpture by Jules Moigniez. Depicting an owl in flight. Having a brown patina with reddish highlights. Presented on a period marble base. Overall height 36.5". Moigniez exhibited his work at the Paris Salon from 1859 to 1892.
Condition Report: Good quality 19th c. cast. No visible foundry mark. Good condition with wear normal for patina's age. Finely detailed.
