The No. 5 honors Master Distiller Frank Bobo, who worked for the distillery from 1966 to 1988 and made a major contribution to the breakthrough of the globally popular Jack Daniel's No. 7 performed. The no. 5 is similar to No. 7 very tasty, while it is also characterized by particularly sweet and woody notes.

The Jack Daniel's Master Distiller No. 6 is dedicated to Jimmy Bedford, who was given this trusting task in 1988. He worked at Jack Daniels as Master Distiller until 2008.
