"Lost Face", by Jack London, published by MacMillan & Company, New York (1910), First edition with "1910" imprinted on bottom of the title page, stated 3rd printing September 1913 [1st printing was issued in March 1910]; illustrated with frontispiece.

"Lost Face" is a collection of seven short stories by Jack London. It takes its name from the first short story in the book, about a European adventurer in the Yukon who outwits his Indian captors' plans to torture him.

"To Build a Fire," the story considered London's best, is included in this collection.
