LARGE HORIZONTAL BRASS TABLE CLOCK.

Date: Dated 1649.
Technique: Fire gilded brass, silver and silver-plated welded steel, glass u.a.
Description: Hexagonal case on winged paw feet. The sides each with glazed medallion-formed outlets. In
the top corners each one small cherub lying on top. The silvern chaper ring with Roman
hours. In the centre finely engraved riverscape with resting allegory. Strike movement on
bell lying on the bottom, movement with verge movement, fusee and chain. Rich decorations
of the movement with engraved blossoms and tendrils.
Measurement: 9,5x15,5x15,5cm.
Mark: Below the count wheel signed: "J. G. Ano 1649 Wilnae".
Modified for two batons.
