“UN Chair”. A pair of armchairs with cherry wood frame. Seat and back upholstered with original blue leather, back embossed with the Heering family coat of arms. Model B 37. Designed 1949. These example made approx. 1957–1960 by Christensen & Larsen Cabinetmakers, stamped by maker. (2)

Provenance: P.F. Heering A/S. The chairs are made of cherry wood from the Heering cherry plantations in Denmark, particularly known for their cherry licqueur.
