Jacqueline Kennedy Typed Letter Signed
TLS signed “Jackie,” one page, 5.75 x 7.75, personal letterhead, April 21, 1987. Letter to "J. C.," in full: "Thanks so much for sending me Nina's book. It is enchanting as are the illustrations. It seems that the material regarding my horse are scattered on bits of paper and now I have a place for a permanent record. I am sure many horse owners will find her book as useful as I will." She adds a handwritten postscript: "Bravo to Nina—and I'm going to give her book as a present to so many horse lovers. Sadly May 12 I have to go to a 25th wedding anniversary party—not as festive as your party at all." Mounted double-matted, and framed to an overall size of 13.5 x 15.5. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing. Accompanied by a hardcover edition of A Rider's Diary by Nina Duran, signed on the first free end page in black felt tip by Duran; also includes an ALS by Duran, in part: "This is the book Jackie was referring to in her letter to J. C. Suares (my late husband). We were both avid horse lovers and accomplished equestrians."
