Beautiful battle depicting a clash between Imperial and Turkish knights, excellent movement and good realisation for both horses and armour. The painting is in excellent condition and has been relined around the middle of the last century. Not restored. Origin: family collection (inheritance) . The analysis of the painting under Wood’s lamp did not detect external works made after its execution, and the paint layer closely adheres to its original support.
