Animal painter, Jacques Nam, had painted mainly cats. But there he had painted many other animals like panthers or lions. The eagles painted by Jacques Nam are part of the achievements before 1920 (Here 1914) . His style is then close to his contemporary Paul Jouve (1878-1973) : assertive and full of energy. A favorite.
