Mechanical - Infinite movement - No chime Jaeger-Le. Coultre Atmos table clock. Perpetual motion clock, with torsion pendulum. Calibre 519 / Serial 77698 Case dimensions: height 23. 5 cm - width 21 cm - depth 16 cm. Weight: 4. 200 kg. This clock functions thanks to changes in temperature. A coil set inside the cylinder situated on the back of the clock expands or compresses with the rise or fall in temperature, which allows the clock to work. In working order and keeping accurate time. All the glass panels are intact, the mechanism is clean perfect, it has some signs of time on the brass of the outer case as the clear varnish has partly come off, once cleaned with the right product the case will be as good as new. The dial is brown in colour, it has faded due to age and can be restored. The movement has blue screws. Polished Roman numerals at 3-6-9-12 o'clock (with a distinctive trait that the numbers 3 and 9 are inverted) . With an inscription on the base. In order for the clock to function properly it must be placed on a level surface. To adjust the time, turn the minutes hand clockwise. The clock must not be moved without first shifting the locking lever of the balance wheel from left to right. It is rare to find an antique clock with such a low serial number that is still working so well. Pictures are part of the item description. Shipped in double packaging, insured and tracked.
