Stainless steel, manual-winding, vertical rectangular-shaped, reversible “Art Deco”-style double-faced gentleman’s wristwatch, with, on the first face, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, and, on the second face, two horological complications:

Case: three-piece, polished and satin-finished, composed of a mobile part (two-piece, snap-on with fluted bezel) containing the movement which pivots inside a frame to which the bracelet is fixed; polished “JL” crown.

Dial: the first, silver colour, guilloché (engine-turned), with black painted suspended Arabic numerals; blued steel “Glaive” spade-shaped hands; the second, anthracite colour, guilloché (engine-turned), off-centre, with white painted suspended luminescent (tritium) Arabic numerals (3-9-12) and stainless steel applied radiating lapidated indexes; stainless steel skeleton luminescent “Alpha” hands.

Movement: calibre 854, manual-winding, 21 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions.

Case based on the French invention patent No. 712 868, delivered on March 4, 1931, to René-Alfred Chauvot, Paris, for a “Montre susceptible de coulisser dans son support et pouvant se retourner complètement sur elle-même”.
