Brown, salt-glazed stoneware, embellished in enamels and gilding. Hallmarked pewter cover and base. Cylindrical form with retracted rim, ear-shaped handle with lion mask and palmette thumbpiece. Relief decorated with a frieze depicting a bear hunting scene, foliate and striped borders. The base inscribed "Laporte 44, V. 2. 16. Height 18 cm. Provenance: Probably Bondy Collection.
