It was delivered new in New York in April of the same year with its Opalescent Golden Sand body colour and light Tan interior trim. The car left the Coventry factory in March 1965 in the same colour combination that it has today; a month later, the car was delivered in New York. This ‘matching number’ car was restored by renown Auto Storica Barcelona restoration Center in the last 6 months, including body painting and complete mechanical overhaul. The professionally rebuilt engine is very powerful and 100% reliable, with exhilarating performance. Still with the original synchromesh 4-speed gearbox, providing an easy shifting and a soft clutching.
