Jaguar - E-Type Series II 4.2 Roadster - 1969
Technically in very good, several repairs were made a few months ago including renewing the clutch, renewing the alternator, thermostat, timing belt re-tensioned, a revolution counter was made and the electronic ignition was replaced. Maintenance is done annually. Country of origin: America. The original purchase invoice from the first owner and all nametags are included. As well as the manual and original Jaguar passport. The car was resprayed about 10 years ago and the interior was reupholstered in brown. I think it's a very nice combination. Originally it had black leather. The car is really a driver's car so don't expect a museum piece. Easy to convert it into one, however cars need to drive. In short, a wonderful car for touring around with. In the time I had the car, it only let me down once when the clutch was worn. Otherwise it start and go. Good maintenance is therefore recommended but most of it has been done. The doors have small paint blisters which is easy to fix. It is recommended to view the car prior to placing a bid in order to prevent disappointment. The car can be viewed by appointment in The Hague, the Netherlands.
