Jaguar - XK8 - 1997

Jaguar XK8 - 1997 - V8. This beautiful coupe has always been the property of enthusiasts. A complete car with all the luxury, no expense was spared on maintenance. All booklets relating to its history are of course also included, as well as 2 keys. German periodic MOT (TUV) valid until 31-08-2021. This coupe spent the first 10 years in the USA and was then imported to Europe in 2008. It has been regularly maintained. The follow-up booklet is available and filled in (some services were not filled in, see photos) . Mechanics: This XK8 drives very well, shifts automatically and brakes without any problems. The automatic transmission works well, no other mode available. The famous modification of the chain has been carried out. Pollution control has been carried out (see photo) which shows a correct level of CO and therefore a good working condition of the catalytic converter. The tyres are like new. A Sport exhaust system is installed producing a beautiful sound. Interior: Leather upholstery in very good condition except for the driver's seat, which has been repaired. Some protective plastics on the side of the seats are damaged (see photo) . The dashboard, the wood are in very good condition. The carpet is in very good condition, unworn, protected by mats. Harman Kardon sound system that guarantees a great sound experience. Parrot installation for phone. The memory electric seats, car radio, lights, indicators, meters all work. The headliner is in average condition, not torn. Bodywork: Painting still very shiny. No rust. Some stone chips and use- and age-related wear are visible. A very good polishing will reduce this. The chassis does not have rust, it is in very good condition. This coupe runs almost every day, just over 3,000 km in 2021 without any problems detected. This coupe is not perfect, improvements are still possible, of course; but it's perfect for everyday driving. A visit, a test, is possible by appointment, in Kehl - Germany.
