A hand-built pottery figure of a semi-nude woman that presents with legs tucked beneath a knee-length skirt, holding a red-painted jar, and peers forward with incised eyes above a prominent nose and beneath an incised headband; nodules rising from her shoulders indicate ritual cicatrices. Size: 4.3" L x 4.7" W x 7.7" H (10.9 cm x 11.9 cm x 19.6 cm)

Provenance: private Reinsmoen collection, Clear Lake, Iowa, USA, acquired through descent from Robert Anderson, acquired prior to 2000

Condition Report: Professional repair and restoration to middle of base and commensurate frontal area of legs and forearms, with resurfacing and overpainting along new material and break lines. Abrasions and light fading to pigment, with chips and nicks in scattered areas, and minor softening to some finer details, otherwise in nice condition. Great preservation to figural form.
