This old coloured etching by James Gillray entitled "The KING of BROBDINGNAC and Gulliver" was published by John Miller Bridge in 1803. Gulliver can be seen carrying Napoleon on his hand. It is a hand-coloured etching and aquatint. James Gillray was a well-known British etcher and caricaturist. His caricatures were particularly related to political events and gained notoriety during the Napoleonic Wars. The print is in very good condition, showing only minor small stains and browning. The corners are somewhat scuffed. The accompanying text sheet (23. 5 x 33. 5 cm) is included. The total size is 33. 5 x 23. 5 cm. The picture size is 21 x 18 cm.
