In and around the buildings scientists, including cartoghraphers and alchemists, and artists like a painter. The hole scene breathes education and knowledghe, science and art. Signed by inventor Stradanus and engraver Sadeler at the bottom of the print. Freom a series of five plates 'Schema seu speculum principum' dedicated to Charles Emanuel Savoy and his wife Catherine.
