[ translate ]

etching, aquatint, paper, 3 x 100 x 66 cm

Graduate of Artistic Printmaking at the Department of Printmaking and Visual Communication, Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań, 2024 Master’s thesis titled “When a Person Loses Themselves: Senile Dementia in Art and Social Life,” completed in the Studio of Spatial and Intermedia Printmaking.

She works in printmaking, painting, and object art.

From the very beginning, her work has explored themes of corporeality and human emotionality. Delving deeper, she seeks out the unnameable, attempting to find and recreate through imagery what cannot be expressed in words. She draws inspiration primarily from her own experiences in interpersonal relationships and her observations of the behavior of those around her, creating works that are non-obvious and ambiguous, yet universal in their overall concept.

She experiments with techniques, sometimes working in traditional printmaking methods, sometimes experimenting with collagraphy, developing her own ways of utilizing this unpredictable technique, or turning once again to oil and acrylic painting, only to ultimately move on to installation art, incorporating sculptural elements and, at times, living matter.
