Impressive portrait in impressionist manner by the Belgian artist Jean Guillaume Rosier (Lanaken 1858 - Antwerpen 1931) . It is signed "J. Rosier" lower right. On the backside there is a dedication by the artist: "A Madame Robert Loe (Yoe?) . /avec mes . . . . mmages. /Jean G. Rosier/le 7 dec. 1929. " The condition of the painting is good. It is framed and protected by a glass pane. The frame has some signs of age. On the photos there are some reflections, which are of course not part of the painting. Colours and contrast can vary slightly for technical reasons. The painting will be packaged carefully and sent by registered mail.
