Jan van der Waarden (Haarlem, 1811 - Haarlem, 1871) , was a Dutch still-life painter. He was a gifted painter of mainly still lifes, including flower and fruit still lifes. His flower and fruit pieces are made entirely in the tradition of Dutch 18th-century flower still life. His work can be found in the Ridder Smidt van Gelder Museum in Antwerp, the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Tours. In good condition.
