Lillian Mayeros (19th/20th c.) and Jane Addams (1860-1935) Hull House ceramic plaque with blue glaze incised decoration of birds and flowers. Signed and dated 1932 along the verso. Jane Addams was an important American activist and the founder of the Hull House in Chicago, which provided artistic training, along with many other opportunities, for the predominantly working class immigrant population of its neighborhood.
