Janke* Bronze Spartan Warrior
After Heinrich Janke (1930-2023, Poland / Germany). Signed "Janke" on back of plinth. Very dark bronze. Spartan warrior is partially seated and is holding a sword in his right hand and a wreath in his left. Approximately 12 x 4.15 x 3.5", 5 Lbs., 11 Ozs., (2,580g). (Note: A similar sculpture was sold with this description: "Ernst Kraas Bildgiesserei Berlin foundry mark", however we cannot confirm this and did not see any other marks or signatures.
