Mexico City and points west, with the west coast of Mexico shown from present day Tuxpan to Acapulco de Juarez; the large cartouche shows a lion wielding a sword, below which is the royal shield of Spain, flanked by man & woman in Greek-style togas, bare breasted. Latin text on verso.
Condition Report: Some rubbing and toning, verso repairs along central crease and a few other places, lower margin extended with lower neat line defective in a few places, else about very good.
