Magnificent Teppo rifle (arquebusier) . According to the former owner, it dates from the 17th or 18th century. Very good mechanical and aesthetic condition. The photos do not show the real beauty of this Teppo. It is much more beautiful in real life. Several drawings of butterflies are inlaid in silver and a Kamon (logo) which could be the logo of the Takeda clan. Signed in several places: Three characters on the barrel with the Kamon, definitely Sadahiro - opposite and below the barrel is a large signature =? ? ? - on the right side =? ? ? - and on the wood of the butt under the barrel =? ? ? I’m not very knowledgeable about this kind of weapon so please take a good look at the photos. It has remained in a display case without maintenance for a long time. It will need to be polished and cleaned inside the barrel to restore it to its former glory. Defects: the ramrod is not the original - flash pan gate pin does not hold well.
