bear fur, lacquered wood
for single-headed spear [yari]
each with later custom-made stand, one with wood storage box (tomobako)
length of the largest: 33 cm., 13in.; diameter of the largest: 24 cm., 9½in.

Condition Report:
The yari-saya with some wear to the fur, including some losses to the hair in some areas, rubbing and small chips to the lacquer consistent with the age and use of the object, the stands with some light surface marks, the storage box with some surface marks to the wood, including minor scratches and dents, consistent with being used.
