Unusual large portrait on silk of a hero in uniform with medal for valor and membership insignia. The characteristic of the uniform seems to date back to the First World War. The star-shaped decoration worn on the left pectoral belongs to the chivalric Order of the Rising Sun of the Grand Cordon, granted by the Emperor Japan in 1875 to brave and deserving soldiers for services rendered in honor of their homeland. The portrait is framed and has an ideogram in black ink and a red stamp on the left side.
Some amber colored blooms do not affect the pleasantness of the portrait.
