Japan - WW2 - WW2 Japanese Shin Gunto IJAOfficer'si Gunto 100% - Seki imperial army - Sword

I am pleased to offer this original handmade Japanese relic for senior officers of the Samurai army in the Russian-Japanese period. This sword is in the original form in which it has been preserved since its time, belonging to a Colonel or Colonel TTe, the state is optimal and maintains all its beauty and splendor, Shin Gunto Gendaito of World War II is mounted. The sword represents the rare opportunity to own a historical katana from the Munei Showa period of World War II made in Seki's arsenal 関 市. The nakago is munei and is mounted on rare Gunto mounts. The blade and holders are in very good condition. The sword is long with a blade (64 cm) . It is also a large, thick and powerful sword, with a thickness around the world of 1 cm. The weight of the blade is almost 1. 5 kg (3 pounds) . The sword is well built and displays an itame fairy that is mixed with a tight ko-mokume fairy. The hamon is a citizen-style choji midare based on suguha. The hamon is present throughout the blade through the kissaki, where it ends in a thick boshi midare. There are many activities like yubashiri, ashi, me and an utsuri around the hamon. The assemblies are from the period -Japanese Gunto. The frames are in perfect condition. The tsuka is shaped like a saber and is in good condition and has the same gift. The saya (sheath) is metal plated for outdoors. The metal casing is in good condition, although it shows wear at some points and a metal explosion. The blade is in good condition for the elapsed time. There are no notches, little or no rust, and few scratches along the blade. There are no major flaws like the hagire. The saya presents small obstacles when covering it, possibly the interior wood has inflated a little over the years. Given the history, craftsmanship, condition, and exceptional assemblies, I think this piece would be a premium addition to a WWII military or Japanese sword collector, and I highly recommend it
