Japanese Bronze, Mixed Metal Censer in Wood Box

A Japanese tripod censer with copper and silver inlay of Phoenixes and dating from the Meiji period. The censer features two pairs of phoenixes on the body and a mythical beast finial on the lid. The censer comes in a wooden box with an inscription on the lid and an inscription with 1 seal on inside of lid.

Dimensions: 7 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide; 17.8 cm tall X 11.4 cm wide. Weight: 622.5 grams. All measurements are approximate.
