Japanese Gilt and Gouache Folding Screens "Fragrant Peach and Apricot Gardens"

“Fragrant Peach and Apricot Garden pair of screens, made for the sake my former teacher, the venerable Bunrin” (桃杏芳園之圖ー雙是為, 先師文麟翁之作); extensive inscription to second screen indicating that the artist, identified as a “venerable gentleman”, died shortly after completing the screens. The inscription was written by a former student who recalled the many lessons and fond memories when looking at the painting.
Both screens include their original cloth storage sleeves and wooden shipping/storage crate that accommodates both screens. Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless the shipping option is selected, the winner is responsible for bringing appropriate assistance, vehicle, proper materials, and any necessary tools to pickup.
