Japanese Katana Dragonfly Koshirae, Fine Edo period (1600 – 1868) Samurai scabbard and fittings - no blade. Artistically formed gold Dragonfly design on the Fuchi and the Kashira with iron and brass tsuba featuring rectangular openwork. The handle is formed with wrapped ray skin adorned with menuki and silk wrapping.
