Japanese Kofun Terracotta Haniwa Head Fragment on Stand 15''x7.5''. An ancient ceramic head fragment measuring 9.5''x5'' without stand. Excellent condition. 4th to 6th century, Kofun period. Collection of Dan Henderson (1921-2001), Seattle. Henderson started the Asian Law Program at the University of Washington and much of his personal Asian arts collection resides in the Seattle Asian Art Museum.
