[ translate ]

East Asia, Japan, Meiji period, ca. 1900 CE. A whimsical cast bronze bowl featuring two geese on a pond. The base is stamped with "JAPAN" and signed with Japanese characters. This swirling lines of this delightful piece reflect the Art Nouveau movement that was popular at the time and borrowed Japanese elements. Size: 7" L x 3.75" W x 2" H (17.8 cm x 9.5 cm x 5.1 cm)
