Antique Japanese Meiji period Kodansu or miniature chest. Crafted of fine silver. Features engraved floral, bamboo and butterfly engraved designs. Doors open to reveal three black lacquer doors with silver hardware. Signed with impressed hallmarks on base rim. Measures 4 1/2" x 5" x 4" Fair to good condition with broken hinges on front door, opposing door missing trim. Small dents to surface and mild surface wear.
