Beautiful Japanese Samurai Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae. (NBTHK Hozon Token) Signature from the great Japanese blacksmith Yamashiro Daijo Minamoto Kunishige (2nd generation) Shinto Chu Jyo saku Musashi. This sword belongs to the Jyo Jyo Saku ranking. The blade is beautifully polished. Habaki: single silver habaki. Blade length: 49. 1 cm or 19. 33 inch. Sori: 0. 8 cm or 0. 315 inch. Mekugi: 1 Width at the hamachi: 3. 07 cm or 1. 21 inches. Width with the Kissaki: 2. 21 cm or 0. 87 inch. Kasane: 0. 56 cm or 0. 22 inch. The weight of the sword is 565 grams Era: Edo period Manji era 1658. Shape The blade is quite broad and thick with small sori and longer kissaki Jigane Koitame had a good grain with jinie attached and chikei work Hamon Nie deki deep nioikuchi suguha then deep nioikuchi Gunome midare and Aranie Tobiyaki work wildly and feel active. Hamon Special feature Yamashiro Daijyo Minamoto Kunishige is a Kunishige stream. The magazine is of the second generation and is called Otsuki Denshuchiro who is called Edo Mizuta. He also worked in Sakusyu Tsuyama province. Wild feeling active temperament line. On the Shinogiji, Yakiba works briskly Beautiful Koshirae Saya: Red colour Saya Tsuba Mokko Style Iron Tsuba, Stand Up Mimi and Amida file engraved, it is hard to see the signature Menuki on the shakudo plate is the flower vase engraved with gold colour Fuchikashira On the iron plate, wild duck and reed are engraved with gold colour Kozuka Shakudo Nanako, flowers are engraved with gold and silver colour Kogatana NBTHK Hozon Token. Unfortunately the kissaki is partly broken. Of course, this has been taken into account regarding the price.
