A Late 19th-Early 20th Century Japanese Satsuma Koro. Having a round, pierced cover with finial, lobed body, and tripod base. Decorated overall with multi-colored flowers, an exterior scene featuring numerous Geishas, and gilt accents and crackle glaze overall. Signed at the underside, over glaze. Small flake to interior rim of cover, very light wear to decoration. 5" high. ESTIMATE $600-800 Purchased from Flying Cranes, Manhattan Art & Antiques, in May 1995.
