From the series One Hundred Beauties depicting Modern and Ancient Manners and Customs (Kinko fuzoku hyaku bijin). This is an antique woodblock print, signed Shodo, published by Wakita Ainosuke, 1903. Shodo Yukawa, a Japanese painter and printmaker, created a remarkable series of 160 woodblock prints titled Kinko Fuzoku Hyaku Bijin, produced between 1901 and 1903. This series stands as one of the largest in the history of ukiyo-e.
