JARDUR
Samuel Klepper was born in 1892 and grew up in New York City. He was always passionate about aviation.
Samuel listed his occupation as a radio jobber in the 1930 census and co-owned the Hamilton Radio Corporation radio franchise with his brother-in-law Wolfe Kalmin. Four years later, in 1934, Samuel changed the company name to Pilgrim Electric Corporation.
In 1937, Samuel began integrating his passions, based on Samuel's passion for all things aviation and his experience in the radio industry, particularly in designing radio wheel maps. Samuel began producing the Bezelmeter Aviation Chronograph.
Samuel named his company Jardur Import Company.

The watch was manufactured in 1939
Black dial - original. Arabic luminous numbers 12/3/6/9 - within 24/13/15/18/21/23. External seconds minute track and two chronograph scales. Arrow luminous pointer. Three sub-dials. On the nine second - on the three the 30 minute counter and on the six the 12 hour counter. Signed under the 12 JARDUR SHOCKPRODECTED.
Movement caliber Valjoux 71 signed in capital letters pilgrim electric corp seventeen 17 jewels unadjusted swiss in original condition. A sought-after caliber in very good quality.
