Lovely encre de Chine/grisaille porcelain lidded Jars, relief on the body. The source of the design is an engraving by Claude Audran III (1658-1734) as part of a series in which various Olympian gods and goddesses depict the months of the year, Hera/Juno symbolizes June. (Hervouët 1986, p. 296) , (Litzenburg 2003, p. 190) Overall Condition; Both lids have a small chip to the inner rim. 1 jar is perfect, only some base rimflints. other jar has shallow chip inside rim. Size; 108mm diameter and 125mm high approx. All will be packed neat and sent track and trace and insurance. Registered airmail
