Jay Strongwater (American). Monumental Limited Edition decorative art glass crystal centerpiece vase with lid. Mottled lavender molten glass handmade by master blowers from Marinha Grande, Portugal, mounted on a metal base with four scrolling feet, brightly colored enamels, and a profusion of hand-set Swarovski crystals. Lid has a large stylized pointed onion shaped finial with encircling cabochons and Swarovski crystal embellishments. Oval Jay Strongwater medallion with Limited Edition number 60/350 to underside. Good overall condition, normal wear, the vase seems to have been produced with a slight tilt, which does nothing to detract from its beauty, but please bid accordingly.
